"HER" is a powerful theatrical performance that explores the profound effects of the ongoing Anglophone crisis in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon, particularly on women and girls. Since the crisis began in 2016, countless true events have unfolded, highlighting the struggles faced by these individuals in a time of turmoil.
The Need for this performance
This project aims to shed light on the often-overlooked narratives of women and girls during the Anglophone crisis. By bringing their stories to the forefront, "HER" seeks to raise awareness about the unique challenges they face, including displacement, violence, and loss of opportunities. The performance serves as a platform to honor their resilience and to provoke conversations about gender, conflict, and the urgent need for peace.
